I don't really know the appeal of jumping into a tiny bunch of leaves and rolling around with your brother until you are so dirty and wet that even a half an hour shower won't cleanse you good enough to get all the dirt out of your hair is.... But if I think back to growing up with neighbors who had the hugest cottenwood trees on the planet, I can start to remember the appeal... :)
My best friend growing up (Holly) and her sister (Jennifer) and I would wait until her mom would rake up all those huge leaves and we would do the same thing and it was so magic that you could never wait until it was fall again...
Oh to live life like that again, instead of just seeing all the work you did and wishing you didn't have to do it again once the kids got out of it... :)
