I'm bringing wallpaper back.

Just kidding.  But I do think it's coming back and in a good way.  So you know I'm in a "white and seafaomy green and robins egg blue" phase... right?

Well, now I'm thinking I might want to wallpaper a wall or two in my living room.  Might being the operative word here.  I haven't decided on anything, but I am a little crazy and the thought of having everything white has me a teeny tiny bit scared.

So I just thought I would check out what is out there and I found the most amazing site, with the most amazing wallpapers.  It's called Graham Brown.  Here are some really cool wallpapers that I just thought I'd show you and see what you all thought....

Some of them look so totally different when you see them from further back.

And some of the wallpapers on this site are soooo cool in some wild colors, but I'm sticking with my "toning it down" and "less is more" new downstairs.

Do you have a favorite?  I know the white on white are hard to see, but you can kinda see them if you squint. :)

My thought and you can take it or leave it. What about doing a "damask" not sure if that is what it is really called. But take your "white", one in a flat and the other in a semi gloss and do a wide 12 to 14" stripe. This way you get texture and a really classy look. I have also seen it in where one of the colors is slightly darker/lighter than the other. I did this in Jordyn's room, but with a light purple.
As for the wall paper, I vote for the blue!

Oh, that's a hard decision! How often do you change out your decor? I'm into black accents right now. Seeing that wallpaper picture with the black chandelier makes me want to spray paint mine. Oooh! Oooh!

Whatever you choose, though, you'd better make sure there's enough for Karen's house too!!!

I hope y'all have a fun weekend--just short of getting arrested! (Just teasing)

Yee-Haw!!!

The 6th one down... that one really spoke to me! Pass on some of your ambition, will you? I'm still struggling to finish up my daughters room (shame shame... if you only knew how long I've been working on this project! i'm so close now!).

You guys are going to have so much fun, the town will never be the same with you both there! Toast one for me:)

Dude. Wallpaper...can't easily change your mind about decorating once you go down that path, so be really sure. As one who has scraped and removed, trust me. So here's an idea that jumped out at me while viewing the black frames/white matting on the pictures on the wallpapered walls...what if you used the wallpaper patterns for the matting instead? You could still have white walls (easier to change the paint color down the road if you change your mind) and add your color in the matted and framed things you have around your house. I know you have a lot of black and white photos, and I think this would look pretty neat. Especially a double-matted picture - one wallpapered and one plain white. Lame idea?
