Getting your face painted is serious business to Sam apparently. Not so serious for Ben. I never saw them sit so still in all my life...
Ben wouldn't let me get a photo of his dolphin after is was painted... He quickly got out of the chair after sitting still and started running around like a crazy man. You would have thought he had been sitting for 5 hours, not 5 minutes. Typical.
I'm probably going to post waaaay too many tulip photos in the next few days... You have been warned.
This first orangey and yellow tulip was my favorite color and also my favorite shot of the all the flower shots I got. Ask me tomorrow though and I may have a new favorite. More photos of humans and tulips later...
Jason's mom came out to help this week. Thank goodness, because it would have been difficult without out her! Anyway, we are heading up to the big Tulip Festival today after school. Just the little boys and Grandma and I. Jason is going to stay home and relax. We will be back on Saturday night and hopefully I'll have some nice photos next week!
We are back and Jason has just gotten better and better all day. His surgery was at 1:15 and tonight he is drugged up and feeling great... :) He just has a little bandage on the outside of his nose that we have to change every so often, not so bad.
Before this surgery one side of his nostrils was about 1/3 of the size of the other. The doctor said it was pretty messed up and now when I change his bandage it totally looks normal and the right size finally. I know this has just got to help him, I'm so happy it's over...
Jason is having surgery today on his nose... For a Deviated Septum. He has tinnitus and is always congested, so they think if they fix his nose he might be less congested and therefore help relieve the ear ringing.
Anyway, if you could spare a good thought or a prayer we would certainly appreciate it... I'll let you know how it goes tonight or tomorrow a.m.
Thanks!

Just look at my sorry little tulip... It is in the front flower bed where it is constantly getting mowed over by little feet. My kids feet and the neighbor kids feet... And now.... it's getting snowed on!! On April 19th!! In the Puget Sound area!! Crazy!!
I planted seeds here last weekend when it was almost 80 degrees. I wonder if they won't grow now. Alysium and Lobielia (hope I spelled those close to the right way). So tell my all my expert gardeners.. will they die? Oh no! And what about my Dahlias and Freesia.... ACK!
